06-1858_SL_Flying_Eagle_Cent_AP_Auction.jpgLot # 6107 viewsPaul 1 - Bidding opens at $1.00. This Flying Eagle, the 1858 "Small Letters" type, is original and uncleaned and grades close to EF. It has full details on the tail and wing feathers, which fits Photograde EF, but the breast feathers are a bit more worn than on an EF coin, so I'm calling it "About EF". It doesn't appear to have been messed with and has some dirt in the obverse legends and in the details of the wreath, a good sign that it has not been cleaned. There is one little mark above the "O" in "ONE". The 1858 SL lists for $66 in VF and $144 in EF.
Payment is by PayPal, cash or personal check. My PayPal address is: bulgerin@sbcglobal.net (please try and use "Friends and Family). Shipping is $1.00 in the U.S. and $2.00 elsewhere.
