A good turnout today meant that we had a very successful sale - many folks from AP's past showed up, too!
The auction is gathering momentum, who knows how we'll be doing in the future if we can keep the energy flowing.
Get your lots listed - the closer we can get to optimum operation, the better it will be. I doubt we'll have an auction om the 27th unless there is an immediate flurry of listings, but January 3rd, 2021 seems like a propitious time to have a sale!
We've got the sellers - We've got the lots, but scanty attendance on October 25th means we hope this auction can go forward on November 1st.
Don't miss it! Hope to see you there! Don't forget! We're approaching prime Holiday shopping season, but there is still plenty of time for timely shipping, etc.
sellers: Lots may still be listed, but if posted later than Monday evening, they may not get much (if any) exposure in our fb "annex" gallery

05-1971-S_Eisenhower_Dollar_AP_Auction.jpgLot # 5208 viewsPaul 5 - Starting bid: $1.00 - This is one of five 40% silver Eisenhower Dollars which my father and I ordered from the U.S. Mint back in 1971. Still in its original packaging including the blue envelope, I was fifteen years old at the time. We paid $3.00 for it in 1971. I will start out the bidding at $1.00 a half century later. Shipping on this coin, to the U.S. only, in a padded mailer with tracking is $4.50. Payment is by PayPal, cash or personal check. My PayPal address is: bulgerin@sbcglobal.net (please try

Lovely, Sharp Constantius II FEL TEMP REPARATIO AE-3 majorina from Antioch - This is a very nice Fourth Century Roman billon coin. A half-majorina or perhaps a reduced full majorina on a slightly under-sized flan - 19 mm, 4.27 g, RIC, VIII, 190. It has an attractive black patina with light sand highlights. Payment is by PayPal, cash or personal check. My PayPal address is: bulgerin@sbcglobal.net (please try and use "Friends and Family). Shipping is $1.00 in the U.S. and $2.00 elsewhere.
Exceptionally well-struck on both sides with a detailed bust of the emperor. Just check out his hair and the ornaments on his drapery and armor. On the reverse, you can make out the details of the beard on the fallen Persian horseman, reaching back, trying to save himself from the Roman soldier about to run him through.
