Paul 4 - Quintillus (270 AD) BI antoninianus, 21 mm, 2.80 g. Reverse, CONCORD EXER, has Concordia standing and holding two ensigns. This is a superior example with strong details and nice deep green patina. It comes fully attributed as RIC, V, 1, 10 from the Rome mint in a 2x2 flip. I had this one up for the last auction but it didn't sell. I've relisted it and dropped the opening bid down to $30.00. Payment is by PayPal, cash or personal check. My PayPal address is: bulgerin@sbcglobal.net (please try and use "Friends and Family). Shipping is $1.00 in the U.S. and $2.00 elsewhere.
Quintillus was the brother of Claudius II Gothicus (268-270 AD). He ruled for only three months after Claudius died of the plague. He committed suicide when Aurelian arose against him - His bust is very similar to his brother's, although he usually has tight circular curls in his hair.
