Paul 3 - I offered a similar group of coins at our last AP Auction - A small lot of five full red BU to Choice BU 1944-S Lincoln Wheat Cents. In 1944-1945 cents were struck from used shell casings in an effort to help the U.S. war effort, just like the steel 1943 cents and the 35% silver "War Nickels".
